Why “Simpull” – what does that mean?

A sucker for plays on words, we value simplicity and elegance in technical solutions above almost anything else. Whether it’s user interfaces and experiences, design aesthetic, developer experience and API architecture – there’s something refreshing about simple approaches to complex issues.

The “pull” of Simpull comes from the old adage, “It’s easier to pull a rope than to push it.” Your grandparents and mine might have said this to us more than once! Pulling, rather than pushing, speaks to the fact that Simpull generates product ideas by pulling them from the fabric of our WordPress and WooCommerce community, rather than pushing solutions that pique our own particular interests, pushing those on a market that hasn’t demanded them.
