Every now and then, you connect with people that are both humble and hungry – incessantly helpful, yet always wanting to learn more. When you meet people like this, you want them to be on your team.

I’m a lucky guy – today, I get to introduce one of these people to the world as our latest team member! Mihai Joldis, hailing from the beautiful country of Romania, is the newest developer to join Team Zao.  I’ve had the distinct privilege of getting to know Mihai through our collaborative work on WP eCommerce over the past few years.

That’s the beauty of open-source software – he’s joining our team with the pre-existing chemistry and relational capital of already working together!  That should be a big hint to anyone: if you’re looking for a job in software, start contributing to open source projects (we’re always looking for more contributors ?).

Mihai will be partnering with Liz and I to continue to build world-class web projects. A gifted developer and QA engineer, I’ll be ever-grateful for his eyes on our new and existing client projects, as well as our growing product catalog. You’ll also likely be hearing from Mihai (and the rest of the team) more on the blog this year!
